Description
The Music Office presents two iJam Music-making Family Workshops which integrate arts and technology for participants to enjoy music-making. Hosted by a professional song producer, participants will have hands-on experience to create their own work by utilising the software application GarageBand on iPad. No music background is required.
Target Participants
Children aged 7 to 10, each with an accompanying parent / adult
Tickets
$150 ($50 for 1 child and $100 for 1 parent / adult)
Available at URBTIX from 31 March
Maximum 2 tickets per purchase per person.
*Each pair must purchase 1 adult ticket and 1 child ticket at the same time, and the Music Office reserves the right to refuse entry of patrons not as a pair of “1 parent / adult and 1 child”.
Remarks
Please arrive at the venue 20 minutes before the workshop begins for admission and to download learning materials.
Each pair must bring their own earphone and iPad with pre-installed GarageBand (Operating system: iPadOS 14.0 or later) and 8GB or more available capacity. 【Suitable models: iPad Pro, iPad mini 4, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air (2nd generation or later)】
The two identical workshops are conducted in Cantonese.
Each workshop has a capacity of 12 pairs.
The Music Office reserves the rights to change the programme and the speaker.
The Music Office will take photography, audio or videography during the workshop, for the purpose of archive, reference and publicity of Music Office's activities.
In the event of inclement weather, the Music Office reserves the right to cancel the workshop without notification. Please stay tuned to the announcements of the Music Office and the Hong Kong Science Museum.
